Stephen Orrin has been with our practice for nearly three decades and has now sadly decided to retire. We thought an outing for everyone would be a special way to show our appreciation and so with Sandra stepping in to cover for Sally, we all set off in a rather swanky minibus and headed up to Bexleyheath for a private tour of The Red House – now owned by the National Trust. The Red House was designed by Philip Webb for William Morris so it is of particular interest both architecturally and decoratively with each and every possible item being designed by Morris, Webb and also Edward Burne-Jones. We had a fascinating (if extremely chilly!) tour and then went to Sevenoaks where we had a relaxing lunch at Loch Fyne and were able to say a few words, give a few presents and raise a few glasses to wish Stephen a very happy retirement!
