Developed by Decimus Burton the Arcadian style is prevalent in Tunbridge Wells, a town filled with trees, villas and crescents. This development extends one of these villas (previously a health centre) to form 9 luxury apartments following the pattern of the host building. The centrally located stairs and lift link the two structures together allowing the new to facilitate the preservation of the old. The stucco building is set off by large sash windows and heavy overhanging roof.
