This house is designed as a Queen Anne Revival composition in the spirit of Norman Shaw. The entrance is defined by a tower with the front door being set off by a receding semi circular archway with circular window over. The building has extensive red brick detailing with plinths, quoins, string courses, cornice and arches.
The garden front is a triple stepped facade so that each principal room has a double aspect view of the adjacent deer park both at ground and first floor level. Wider views from the second floor are facilitated by fully glazed dormers.
